Arke is a native application to the Android platform that gives users the ability to send a text message to any phone number in their device's contact list in such a way that the recipient does not know from whom the message comes. Users are limited to sending no more than 3 texts per day and no more than 10 per week. We are striving to create a platform that fosters the most powerful creative compliments and constructive criticism possible.
Arke also allows users to connect with Facebook in a different action and allows users to post to their timelines. The direction given is that the user can do so to ask questions of their friends. Their friends would then download Arke and send an anonymous text to answer the original user's question anonymously. This facilitates anonymous feedback so that the feedback is more cleared of bias.
On the backend, Arke takes users text messages and routes them through Twilio. Twilio is given the text message along with the recipient's phone number. Twilio then delivers the message to the recipient's phone number using one of it's proprietary phone numbers.
